We hope to being friends with us next time we visit. The entire property with lovely. Everything was appreciated & nothing needed changed. My husband & I only had 42 hours to see each other. We wanted a quite place to meet so we could maximize our time together.

Property: A Birds Eye View

We stayed at Hothouse Hideaway and it was absolutely beautiful. The location on the creek was perfection. The cabin itself is small, even for a family of 3. They could get rid of a couple peices of furniture, especially the side table in the living room. But it does not matter that much because you will want to be outside as much as possible! The pavilion with fireplace was THE BEST! If you chose this cabin. It was because of the creek, ans trust me it's worth it. You want to be outside as much as possible. We played in it, fished, and even caught a rainbow trout... and we are no fishing experts! It is som magical out there, and I did appreciate not feeling totally alone. There is a cabin right next door, but we still had plenty of privacy. It was so relaxing just sitting there watching and listening to the creek. There is a TV out there so the kids can put their shows on while you sit and relax to the sounds of the creek. We are already thinking about coming back there in the fall. I wish the outdoor Pavillion was screened in, that is the only downside. It was not as buggy as I would have expected for summer by a creek, but man some of those bugs were scary looking. And upon returning from the store I was bit on my face by something flying at me as soon as I got out of the car. I had a huge red bump on my face for about 2 hours, then it was gone. Be mindful that you are really in the woods out there. We saw 2 beautiful huge deer walking on the driveway. But the creek.... absolutely clear and beautiful. LOVED IT!

We loved everything about our cabin. It was the perfect mountain getaway! We have already shared with friends and family about our stay. The master suite was our favorite. The view every morning was simply beautiful.

Morning Mist is an excellent getaway! Relaxing and the best view! Perfect if you are looking to relax! The view by far! The cabin is very spacious as well. Also the wildlife, got to watch several whitetail deer everyday.

Southern Comfort's rental process was efficient with easy to follow instructions concerning the policies and procedures of the rental agreement. Cabin was very clean and we loved the house style - a little rustic but still classy.

Our family Getaway was awesome! We had so much fun. The cabin was great! So much to do at the cabin and around the local downtown area. My family has already told our friends and extended family members. Every room decor was beautiful. All of the appliances were neatly placed. It was a home away from home atmosphere. We simply loved every moment. We wish our trip was a little longer.

The great customer service, checking to see the day after we arrived if we needed anything. You were always one step ahead for your customer! The cabin had everything you needed. It was complete set up and felt like home. My realtor told me about southern cabins and wonderful you all were. And the blue ridge mountains was beautiful and welcoming to relax.

Working with SCCR rentals is flawless- from the communication, the availability of beautiful properties from which to choose, and attention to detail. I’ve recommended SCCR to many friends and colleagues! Catch of the Day cabin was absolutely wonderful. Private and serene yet close to downtown Blue Ridge. The cabin was comfortable inside and out- we spent more time on the decks and by the creek than anywhere else. The kids loved the arcade games and I enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck listening to Fightingtown Creek flow by below. The fire pit was perfect for evening s’mores, one of favorite traditions.
