It was absolutely all we had hoped for and matched the description of the listing. Our Family had a great Christmas here and was very comfortable. The accomodations were 5 star, beds, bathrooms and kitchen etc. All communication with Page was great from the reminder emails to the little bit of direct communication I needed to do. Visiting the Blue Ridge town was a great treat as well which is only 5 mins from the lodge! Would defintely consider staying again.

Can highly recommend Hubbard Hideaway for your weekend getaway (or longer)! Amazing cabin/chalet with wide-open lake views! Owners thought of everything, yard fun, kayaks, fire pit, indoor games! Fully equipped kitchen! We had the best time and will for sure be back ❤️

Can't say enough about this cabin. Loved the fact that is was so tucked back away from the road and civilization. The National Forest being abutted to the property made it so peaceful. We could get no cellphone service which was just what we were after. The rustic feel of the cabin and having to rely mainly on the fireplace for warmth was so perfect. We got away from all the complication and bitterness of life for a week there. To have changed anything about the cabin would have broken the serenity. My family and I were already missing JME Retreat as soon as we locked the gate on departure and would have loved to stay much longer.

Beautiful cabin! The cabin was very peaceful and had a lovely view. It was also clean and well stocked with things to make our stay comfortable and like home. We appreciated the bathroom amenities provided as well - very nice! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this cabin again.
