I'm Glad We Stayed Here

I believe I found what was evidence of a bear--a muddy paw print. I was really hoping to see one, but we did see one while out site seeing. I had never heard of the area until someone mentioned it to my wife. We did some research and we decided to give 'er a go. I'm glad that we did. It reminds me of the Smokey Mountains before they became over populated, maybe like Gatlinburg fifty or sixty years ago.

We enjoyed our stay at the Whitewater Retreat very much. It was all we were looking for - being surrounded by the majestic woods and so close to the creek provided a much needed respite and helped us reconnect with nature. We would recommend to family and friends. Easy access to the river and the bedrooms was on one level which was a plus for my 83 year old mother and for carrying around a 3 month old baby. Beautifully decorated with rustic decorations. Quiet, peaceful mountain getaway with the sound of the river from the deck was a dream!

This exceeded our expectations, just found this on internet and we were looking for some thing with 1 level so our Mothers (91 & 75) could get in and out very easy. They loved just sitting on the porch enjoying the river Good cell service as well which was a must for me Highly recommend this property

This has been my favorite vacation rental so far. It's neatly tucked away in the woods but is 15 minutes from attractions. The neighborhood is very quiet and the home is tastefully decorated and well-maintained. The creek is rushing and very relaxing.

We loved our cabin! Everything was great! Inside of cabin was immaculate , but outside screens and swing could use a good cleaning. Not enough jets working on the hot tub. Overall, we loved it! The river is so relaxing and the front screened in porch is perfect for reading or napping!

Beautiful Creek - Comfortable Stay!

We loved the cabin. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us to spread out when it was time for alone time, but also had the perfect space for us to sit together in one room by the cozy fire to laugh and talk. The beautiful creek and noise from it were the icing on the cake. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable. It was a great weekend.
